Pick one life choice? Nah, too easy... we'll take two.

When we started planning this wild adventure (last year), I never is my life imagined it would result in one of the most chaotic, stressful, emotional, exhausting and rewarding two weeks of our lives.

It's official. We pulled the trigger with our realtor, setting a price and timeline for listing. That was the easy part. Now, step into my office so I can quickly rack up a list of "should-dos" for the house (sorry Paul!). Not that it isn't okay as is, we (I mean, I...) just really want to make an impression on potential buyers -- doing all the little projects that we've put off over the years that will make our home something special for the next family. [Note to self: Keep Tara on speed dial to motivate future us to complete house projects while we still live in the house.]

Most people prepare their house for a sale OR prepare for a month-long, life-changing trip. Not us, we go for broke and do both. And, it wouldn't be very Uber-ish of us if we didn't do it without some added complication.
