On the move

Boondocking in Florida hits different when the temps reach record highs. Our solar is keeping up for the most part, but we are all ready to move onto a new location that allows us to set the thermostat to a more humane temp at night (I know, first world problems).
So, we waved goodbye to the tiki statues who’ve kept us company in our cozy little back-alley spot at the Ten Pin. A short drive later, we were livin’ la vida loca at the Madiera Beach KOA with shore power and full hookups. Aside from the alligator safety sign, our new spot seems perfect. Turn that AC down honey, this girl needs some sleep!
The best part? We were still only a quick 15 min drive from some of our best friends. THE. BEST. (Mom, you can stop tearing up, we aren’t moving here just yet…) But, it was nice to have them close enough that the hardest decision each afternoon was whether we’re doing dinner at their place or ours. :)
We celebrated lots of things this week, including one Miss Roxxi. She rang in her 11th year with visit from her auntie and uncle, along with an extra helping of lamb for dinner. Happy Birthday, sweet girl!
